  Very disappointed. we went for a family birthday meal, the waiter was unhelpful choosing wine then the waiters hovered to excess when one of our party took a little longer to finish their starter due to recently fitted braces ! When the main course arrived my pizza was so hard / overcooked it was impossible to cut and i was unable to eat most of it the waiters only comment when i advised that it was hard was ' do you want to wait while they have to cook another one ! Whilst i think children in restaurants are a good thing (we had two with us ) the very large group of noisy 8 year olds also there for a birthday, made it feel and sound like a McDonalds . Not the peaceful evening we were looking forward to - won't be going back

  The food was good as was the value for money. The whole thing is let down because even if you book a table at a specific time you wait downstairs with all of the walk ins and are seated in turn. We got in half an hour after the time we booked. Another three groups arrived after us who had booked and were made to wait. The waitress said it was just because they were busy then in the next breath allowed any walk ins to come and wait ahead of those who had booked. I'll go to one of the many other great Italians instead as a result.
